do you guys have a heart?

see this picture very very carefully guys. all of you. there will be some of you who will not be able to look at it. you dont like death, worse violent death. you do not like blood, gore, hate movies like saw, hostel , any takashi miikey cinema. but still its a request to look at this picture and if u r scared by it, the a request is there to stare at it. because what you guys are seeing here is a truth, the reality as it happened to a living thing.
we humans live with this very abnormal notion guys. its like as no one else is a living organism other than us. and if you look little more into yourself you will realise that you do not think anyone else living at all other than your very self.

this is a photo of a royal bengal tiger. killed by the villagers. incidents of this sort happens often here.
i am writing this, not because tigers are endangered. not because its an animal.
i am writing to show and point out and to ask you to digest the cruelty that we do towards animals. for no reason. if a cat comes in the house we try to beat it up scare it out, throw stones etc believing in a fact that throwing stones at an animal is the only way to make it realise that its not wanted. the reason is that it cannot talk, but can attempt to steal food. for all i know an animal of any sort really does not know what stealing is all about.
there are two words in English. INNOCENCE and EXPERIENCE. they stand in opposition to the other. innocence marks purity, sinless-ness, beauty,etc etc ( u get the idea). experience is the the opposite. but innocence also mean knowledge-less-ness ( if there is such a word as that). a tiger that kills a deer.. is that a murderer? no, merely a carnivore. so it is innocent. simply because it does not know that it is killing a life.therefore a tiger is forgiven. the way a tiger acts, is purely by stimuli, i.e an action carried out instinctively. Now, for almost all kind of life form, survival is more an act of stimuli, a reaction to the fact of lets say being born! because they have taken birth, which is a beautiful thing, they have to survive, even before they know that they are trying to survive. now survival is not that pretty a thing as birth is. and adding to that for all life forms survival is a matter of instinct combined with some purely physical attributes, namely, strength, ability to react to instincts ( read stimuli) produced by sense organs of the body.Not much mind is used here.a cat's mustache, horse's manes, fins of fish, tails of crocodile, they are all parts that help them to understand the and react to the world they live in.there fore how many times a crocodile eats an animal, it still remains innocent.therefore how many times a cow or deer is eaten by a carnivore it cannot ask for justice or revenge from God ( or who they choose to ask from, if they could that is). there is nothing more violent than pure innocence my friends. A living being who does not know what he is doing is probably the most dangerous of all.not only because he may commit a grave crime but more because he may never realize the gravity of the crime he has committed.a living thing who does not know what he has done, and has done it to survive, as an action brought about by his instincts cannot be convicted of a crime. the entire animal world is the example of this notion that I believe in.
Now, are thses people who are carrying the tiger innocent?
here is the difficulty. you can call them a bunch of murderers, cruel individuals.. etc etc. but are they? what if it was their son being carreid like this?
they would have screamed , cried, taken revenge. but here they are not doing anything of the sort. because of this strange assumption guys. they take it as a base fact that the animal cannot feel. it does not know death. and since this tiger in question to them is violent cruel animal, it is only justified that it should be killed.
now i hope all of you know what a cat is. fairly domestic they are. sometimes aloof, sometimes they are very affectionate. you can pick them up anytime and cuddle them. feed them milk. you can open twitter accounts on their name and get famous! but have you ever seen the catch a mouse. hunt a lizard? many of you have and many of you never bothered. but if you would take the time to see them you will see a extremely violent sharp toothed, strong clawed creature. look in their eyes, you will see the same expression of a carnivore out to prey.now inflate your darling pet cat few thousand times and you have a tiger. well do u wanna cuddle it now?
my reason for writing this entire paragraph is to prove the fact that any animal is as sweet cute cuddly as you can imagine them to be, especially if they are not hunting . when a cat kills a mouse what happens can be a " mess" . when a tiger kills another animal what happens is a Nat Geo documentary. but they happen in the same process, with same instincts, using same methods.
if i come back to my earlier question, look at the dead tiger. mouth opened, definitely suffered a painful death, driven to it by pure fear ,desperate attempt to live and beyond insufferable pain!
is this death justified?
this people who killed it, did not do it by instinct, this death is not justified by Nature.It is a crime that no one will be punished for. this is a death that you will not bother about for more than five minutes.no none will cry for it. there will be not more than 1 day of media coverage on it.
if this would have happened to a human, it would have been called cannibalistic, horrifying etc etc. but this incident happening to an animal is so common that u guys don't find it horrifying at all.
i am not talking about poaching. i am talking about the attitude we have towards animals. we have reserve forests and we have Open Season. We decide whether we can kill this animal or not. now in this humane world there are a few species who probably thank their gods that their fathers and forefathers were killed and skinned etc. etc, so that they have come under endangered species category. so they don't get killed often but still do by certain people with lot of money. sad are those animals who are not in that endangered group yet. killing animals for fun is still a sport in Open Season. in countries where stray dogs and cats are taken into animal shelters are given two weeks to live and see if some one come s for them and then they are " put to sleep". and so the Human God rises, deciding who should live and who should not live.
Have we grown less cruel with Animal Rights Activists lecturing us, or have we grown so cruel that now we want animals killed and done away with so neatly that we dont even wanna see blood at all? All of you answer this, do you have a problem knowing this tiger is dead, or watching the fact of death ? I believe it is the second one. We do not mind eating meat, but we do mind watching something yelling and dying and then having it, seeing the blood and the flesh. To those guys who feels troubled seeing blood, death,this picture, you guys are more cruel than the others.you guys are not sensitive or something. you simply avoid the reality.

And now the second question. are these people innocent? They committed a murder. They skinned the tiger and sold the hide for 1.5 lakh to some businessman. As I wrote before, this death, is not caused by instincts, therefore, this death is not permitted by Nature. This is not an act instigated by stimuli or drive. or is it?
As I said survival is more an act of stimuli and strength! for humans its also aided by brains. And then there is the mind.
We are the only creature in this world who has the power to understand! Yes: not power to love and fight etc etc. Its the power to understand.We understand, if a animal is hurt. We understand if a tree is dying, we UNDERSTAND . And that is something no other creature does. We have the blessing of understanding. We understand fear of death, love for life, attempt to survive, not only of humans but also all other animals. a crocodile will not understand if a deer is scared, but we will. Animals have feelings, how ever basic they are; those who have pets know how animals get jealous, attention-seeking, stupid, angry at times. So if dog feels all that then I have every reason to believe that all other animals does the same too. Only we do not spend our understandings on them. to be honest we do not spend our understanding on anything beyond our Self. those people who killed the animal, are still innocent.Why? Because I believe that if survival is instinct and if money is making us survive then these people are reacting by what I would call Latent Stimuli.Latent Stimuli does not make you run or hide but makes you react slowly. These people need money, money is survival. To sell the hide to this certain businessman they would get 1.5 lakh INR.That means a lot to them, and hence they killed. So will this be an act of cruelty. They wont eat tiger meat, but this is still hunting for food in a more complicated way. Money is not a Natural creation.But it only enforces the Natural instincts.There is no point blaming them. They are what I was talking about.Innocent in the most horrific way. They do not know Global warming,balance of Nature, endangered species, and they do not know the VALUE OF LIFE. Here is the problem. I believe that everything that is alive here, is donig so because that thing has the Right to Live. You can convict a man and hang him. By his death a vacuum is created which can be filled moment another man takes birth. Since i am a human, i can give birth to human child and thus fill the vacuum created by the previous death.Today if we try to save animals it is not because we have learned to love them and over the years evolved in to a kinder species, but because today we understand the threat to ourselves. there is nothing called a animal lover in this world . No my friend. If today I am writing this, it is not because I love animals. It is because, seeing images like this, hearing reports of this incidents scares me. hurts me , pains me makes me feel that this world has nothing called justice. All these feelings make me sad. and I am writing because I DO NOT WANT TO BE SAD.

a pigion dies today. this is as important , or rather a much less important comment than..."today is sunday".why is it so? there was this guy walking past, he never noticed an alive thing dead. something was there, something is not there now... no difference?..okay i am mad, crazy, sadistic, depressed. i cry when a bird dies in an accident, a dog comes under a car, a cat gets under the bus. i cry. i cry terribly. the world seeems like a dreary place, as if there is no hope. and may be i am right. with all the global warming happening around , i do not see much hope. but this is because of us. we have spoilt the world, destroyed it so much that it cant take us anymore. and this is because we are insensitive. just like no one noticed a pigion, which was alive a momemt ago and now dead, no one noticed when they poached the animals and hung them on shoulders or on walls, ripped them off their skin and made shoes or when we slowly cut off more trees than we should have. the thing is that no one notices an absence in a crowd. this is the way murder mystry happens. kill something in the crowd. so one pigion dead in a whole lot of them doesnt make a difference, one tiger less among lot of them, no difference, one tribe of men lost because others killed them, no difference... one planet gone in an universe of zillions of them.... no difference???
i hope we think that way... because that seems to be the general direction of thought.
but no... we right now are fighting. fighting to restore. yes i am glad to live in a time where atleast people know the word called conservation. where there are people fighting against useless killing of species, people trying to restore cubs of creatures so that they can inhabit. i hope we are doing it out of love for them and not merely because of love for us.
i wish everyone could take in a stray dog or cat. love an animal, so killing them, taking them as less living than humans doesnt happen. what is painful to us is painful to them. but unlike us they are not responsible for what is happening all around the globe.all animals are complete. they do not depend on humans to live. we in most of the cases depend on many other things. those who have pets know, each dog is different from the other. they are complete by themselves. i have met people who feel an animal can be killed because they are not good enough. their lives can be wasted, they are not important.
we are humans. we are different from some useless animals with innocent eyes and most basic of survival intincts.we are different because we know how to feel and give love. a cat does not have the brain to understand a human, but the human has brains to understand a cat, when its playful, when its hungry..like that we can understand all animals. thats what people are doing now. its a comforting feeling. we have the power to love, we have the capacity to understand the smallest and most minutest of creatures. u know virus es are the minutest, still they were there before us and they will be always. each being is a complete being. each life has its own value. each death creates a gap. we should identify it. we should use what we have. we can love. all of us can love. all of us can understand.
go, tell me i am stupid writing all these, but i hope some one, somewhere is there who loves them, not with curiosity to experiment with them, not with thoughts of restoring the self, but loves them in the truest way. one world, one set of air, the same oxygen that makes all of us live...we survive in the same space, we are responsible for anyone, anything, how remote, how unrelated...just like one house and its memebers, similarly one world and its members. one does not cheat and hurt those who live with us...lets not..lets notice them not by species, but each one of them as they are. we are not deciders of fate...we are the race who has been blessed to feel love and give it...in the name of love...lets be together.

whew!!!!

tatsed beer, namely budweiser...after ages in a local disc last night. the club was not that great but the crwod was good. i did not know i was going, not sure at least, so wore a jaens tee combo. so was glad that everyone ( almost, i mean except the one with hgreat legs and thin bods) wore same kinda stuff only. adding to that i was in sneakers. there was only 1 starnge looking girl who was propah in dress but was not looking nice at all.
there goes the woman in me. but budweiser reminded me so much about goa ... so had some small bottles of it.they stopped smoking inside the pubs in kolkata. anyone i tell that to here , or anywhere raises the eyebrow. it has to be like that. i miss someplace else. that used to be my favourite place during peak hours or even at the happy hours. after they stopped amoking in the pub, it has lost its chram. whats a pub where you dont feel a little last by the lack of light, some groovy music and loads of smoke...all from ciggies.. its the smell of whisky, pooping of beers and smoke, thats the way to enjoy music ... but thats past. someplace else looks like someone did a spring cleaning on it.
was it neccessary??? i mean people, no let me correct mankind has been smoking all the legal and illegal stuff from a long time, since when they found those goadamnit leaves. i donot support drugs. they spoil lives. one should steer clear out of it. and probably should only taste it if its only once, because in this life you gotta do everything. so tobacco leaves... were there for a long time. our country made bidi are made by villagers ,mostly smoked by the people who are addicted to it and especially those who cannot afford ciggies... do i have to believe that they invented cancer as soon as they invented smoking. nope , not possible. people have been smoking for long time. yes passive smoking is not fair. but they have no sure shot medicine to get rid of cancer...and smoking is not the only reason for cancer. sometimes they say chicken bone marrow is a reason... sometimes they say its not. can one stop a deasease like that?? that is by eliminating cause. whatever passive smoking corrosion one is causing to another by smoking, much more is caused in india, esp in kolkata by the cars and their exhaust...the autos drive in the city use unclean fuel that causes a huge amout of smoke and pollution. they tried to ban it, but were defeated by the internal party politics and thousands of auto drivers fighting , blocking roads and chanting that no one can take our job...this is even after the supreme court in india banned bandhs and road block as a way to show political agitation. kolkata is my birthplace i love the city but useless and cheap politics have become potenet problem for which i would rather shift away... that is sad. may be i wont. i guess whenever work needs to be done work is done in the areas where the effects are minimal, so nothing is disturbed in the long run... so go clean someplace else!!!!

digressions

am glad that ria read thru my blogs. am also unhappy coz she is unhappy. i cannot help her.. and her parents are not really helpful at all. may be this is breach of privacy and ria will kill me as the first thing when i land back home. rain has stopped and i am looking forward to a nice cup of tea with ashi now. ashi is a great guy...played natalie brooks.. what kinda extensionn is .ifn? dunno. kinda ticked off with gta. i need to upgrade muh ram. i am missing out on killing these three guys on the little jacob mission. by the way i am also missing carlberg and loony deepro.
could not find darjeeling tea in spinneys and i just cannot have anything other than darjeeling tea. ashish made some great coffee with baileys...awesome.
planning to loose weight, but not working. not working at all.still now sipping my thumps up...drew some ok pictures. ashi liked them. but then ashi likes anything i do. cooked some tofu yesterday. didnt like it. it tastes too much like curd...paneer is better. didnot like danish blue cheese and is in complete love with feta...i love the usual greek salad.. with could make the dressing at home.was kinda happy drawing and then remembered that mom used to draw too...
now for the digression, all i wanna say that i am digressing no more... life decided what it wants for me. its not bad and i dont have an option. tears do trickle down now and then but...i decided not to digress again in to some dreams that will never come true...life it is... there are no dreams left to digress in to.. i am not sad... i am just accepting stuffs... guess its easier....and am a chicken

in dubai

this is the strangest... in a city that i like and dont like at the same time. reason for not likimg is potent, very few book stores and nothing green...so kinda lost. still writing and striking off what i wrote last. at this rate this is becoming a time and work mathematical probolem. am not angry anymore. not angry at all. sometimes irritated, but beliveing in goodness of life as a whole.
i started smoking pine esse menthol ciggies. they are minute, miniscule and very good. i like them so much now that my usual davidoff ultra lights seems like a marlboro strong to me. at this rate ill leave somikng soon. read the series of unfortunate events and wanna say "lemony snicket, i love you".
i am reading the series backwards ... that is to say i read THE END at the start. i am going backwards. i think books cost more in dubai. but cannot help it. also read twilight by meyer. found it to be to be like some mills and boon that i used to read but later on towards the end it was rather gripping. so i guess i will spend my pocket money again on the NEW MOON. it is definitly a better vampire story, nothing beats bram stroker though.
also bugged about archie comics becoz i donot like the new graphic novel look. certain things should not be tampered with, even by the makers of the same. i am back to sleepless nights, thanks to the games that i find onnet also getting loads of fun out of the new gta 4. its good , though i miss th san adreas country side. also not getting anything close to K-ROSE.
by the way what i do like about dubai is the extensive collection of cheese at the spinney's. found the tom and jerry wala cheese. ashish likes it. good for him. tonight i think i am gonna draw... something.added deepro (who is a very good friend)'s blog. will read through...
